James Robinson, Deputy CISO
James is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of experience in security engineering, architecture and strategy. He develops and delivers a comprehensive suite of strategic services and solutions that help executives change their security strategies through innovation.
Before his time at Netskope, Robinson was the VP third-party risk management at Optiv, where he worked as a core contributor around strategic internal initiatives including threat management, risk management, third-party risk management, vulnerability management and data program protection. Prior to Optiv, he was the security architecture and strategy officer for Websense. He also previously served as product security officer for Emerson Network Power, a division of Emerson Electric Company, where he built the company’s first product security organization, including program and reference models, which were later adopted by Emerson Electric’s CTO office.
He has held positions of increasing responsibilities with other Fortune 500 companies such as Anheuser-Busch and State Farm insurance where he ran one of the most successful penetration testing engagements in the company’s history.
Throughout his career, Robinson has helped companies plan, build and run security programs, and he has developed solutions for network architecture and application security, penetration testing, incident response, security and risk assessment, forensics and investigations and product security. He attended Webster University where he studied business and management and holds a number of technical certifications.
Uy Huynh, Vice President, Global Solution Engineering Uy is a security expert and a motivational leader, with more than 20 years of experience in the security industry and experience focused on business and sales growth. He is currently the Vice President of Global Solution Engineering at Island, responsible for driving successful outcomes throughout the entire customer lifecycle – including pre-sales, implementation, and customer success directly and through our partner ecosystem. He leads a global team of highly-specialized solution engineers to ensure that our customers maximize the value of their investment and operationalize our solutions quickly. Prior to Island, Uy led global cloud security customer engineering at Google and was Senior Vice President of Global Technology Solutions at Carbon Black Security, which was acquired by VMware. Prior to Carbon Black, Huynh was the Americas Vice President of Sales Engineering & Learning and Development for McAfee, supporting private and public sector customers. Uy holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Throughout his career, Uy has led hundreds of employees, held multiple global roles, developed leaders, and assisted hundreds of organizations to achieve their security objective.
Abigail Maines, Chief Revenue Officer of HiddenLayer a Security for AI company
Abigail is responsible for the global go-to-market strategy and ensuring HiddenLayer is delivering security outcomes that are valued by customers and partners. She is a results-driven sales and business development executive with a demonstrated ability to scale global revenue and profit while driving organizational growth and development via building world class teams. She has been a member of the leadership team at Cybereason, Check Point, Cylance, and Absolute Software.
She is also the Co-Founder of “FIERCE,” Females In Every Role Change Everything. FIERCE is a global women’s empowerment organization focused on driving acceleration of women’s equality in the workforce, academia, and government sectors.
Mark Mahovlich, Vice President of Stategy and Execution for ICM CYBER
Mark has over twenty-six years of experience in assessing business needs and architecting technology and implementation strategies for mid-market and enterprise organizations. Mark has an in-depth working knowledge of system requirements planning for applications and systems software, as well as for server, storage, network, security, compliance and governance, mobility, desktop and related hardware infrastructure.
Prior to ICM, Mark served as Vice President of Dealer Development for Edgerton Corporation, and was responsible for advanced technology research & development, as well as the support and service of clients globally. During that tenure, Mark successfully implemented over 175 ERP Implementations.
Mark also has served in leadership roles for security and consulting services organizations, including serving as Director of the Data Risk and Resolution Practice for a mid-range consulting firm that specialized in the implementation of Information Asset Protection Programs. Mark has led teams that have successfully implemented Security & Data Protection Programs in hundreds of organizations.
Mark has provided technology acquisition, design, and implementation services to Federal Agencies as well as the nation’s leading financial, healthcare, legal, retail, and manufacturing organizations.
Mark has been a guest speaker and panelist at RSA, Gartner, SecureWorld, ISSA, Infraguard, Data Connectors, and Fortune 500 Board Meetings. He has authored several whitepapers and cyber security strategies.
